WHO WE ARE

Community Amateur Sports Club - CH11797 (non-profit)

Larkhall Athletic Youth Club’s mission is to provide a safe and rewarding environment for children to develop to their full ability in football. The club will strive to provide the best quality coaching, facilities and equipment working closely with the senior club within the Larkhall Community. Through the years the youth club has become recognised as one of the leading football club in the region recruiting at an early age from the local schools of Abbot Alphege Academy, Bathampton, Bathford, Bathwick St Marys, St Saviours, St Stephens, Swainswick and Weston All Saints.

We now have 500 children from Under 5s to Under 18s playing in the Wiltshire FA and Somerset FA Leagues on a weekly basis and within the local cup competitions. Every year the Youth Club hosts an end of season tournament over two days, to raise additional money, with over 100 teams and more than 600 children participating. They have been hugely popular and great fun playing on the senior pitch adding to the special event.

We regularly run joint events with our Senior Club such as our family day at a home game where we are welcome 50 children to come and have lunch, meet the players and watch the game. As a special welcome we also have the Under 7s as mascots who play a mini- game at half-time giving them their first taste of football with a big cheer. Hopefully in years to come they will be playing for the senior team!

As a non-profit organisation, registered with HMRC, we effectively run as a charity ensuring all profits are re-invested into the club to maximise benefits for our players and keep costs low.

The Youth Club always welcomes new players. Please contact us for more information.
